ChartBlooms operates as part of ClassroomPulse.io and adheres to FERPA, COPPA, and applicable state privacy laws. We collect only the information necessary to support behavior tracking, communication, and district reporting requirements.
Student rosters, point sheets, session streaks, and reinforcement menus stored in Firebase with tenant isolation per organization.
Names, email addresses, and SSO identifiers needed to authenticate educators through Google Workspace or district-managed providers.
Aggregated performance metrics and crash reports used to secure infrastructure and improve experience. We do not sell analytics data.
Subscription metadata (plan, billing contact, invoices) handled by Stripe. We never store raw card numbers; Stripe is our PCI-DSS compliant processor.
Data is used strictly to deliver and improve ChartBlooms services. We never sell data or use it for targeted advertising. Core use cases include synchronizing rosters, generating student progress reports, running analytics dashboards, facilitating FERPA/COPPA compliant family sharing, processing educator subscriptions via Stripe, and providing support requested by districts.
We partner with vetted subprocessors that meet or exceed FERPA and COPPA obligations. Stripe provides payment processing; Firebase hosts application data. Each subprocessor is listed in the district data protection agreement and subject to annual review.
District administrators act as data controllers. ChartBlooms processes data solely under their direction and offers tooling to honor privacy requests quickly.
Student records remain active for the duration of a district license unless an earlier deletion is requested. We retain audit logs for 12 months to support compliance investigations before secure disposal.
Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@classroompulse.io. We respond within two business days and coordinate with district administrators as needed.
